Having opened our grounds to the public several years ago for garden tours and a very memorable benefit for Women for Women International, we are now happy to announce that we have begun hosting weddings. We would be honored to have you celebrate your marriage here, and hope you will visit us during your venue selection process. Come see what we look like in person– chances are you will not find a more romantic setting for your special day.
Waterperry Farm was an incredible setting for a timeless moment. The gardens were amazing, and both the ceremony and reception were postcard picturesque. The Bridal dressing room was perfect and completed the feeling of being a princess. Our guests have remarked on numerous occasions about the wonderful time they had, and Rick and I will always hold this day and the experience we shared there in a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much for this amazing memory!Victoria HamiltonWhen you visit, you and your wedding planner will have ample time to tour the grounds and to picture the ideal spot for the ceremony, whether in one of the gardens, or on the lawn with a view of the mountains. It is likely there, on a beautiful site beyond the pool and pergola, that you will picture your majestic tent.
On your wedding day, the Bridal Party can relax and get ready in the guest suite of our lovely carriage house, while the Groomsmen can enjoy the comfort of the pool house.
Waterperry Farm is located in Free Union, Virginia, about twenty minutes from the city of Charlottesville, home of the University of Virginia and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. There are many hiking trails and wineries in the area, and a wide array of excellent hotels and restaurants. We will be glad to provide you with a visitor’s list, as well as to recommend our preferred planners, photographers and vendors if you so desire.
